Filmmakers’ Fund: Support women to change their communities through film
Through screening their film, I’ve Found My Way, the Samfya Women Filmmakers aroused their community’s compassion and concern around the plight of AIDS orphans. By supporting filmmaking initiatives in Samfya and other communities where we work, Camfed encourages women to speak out about injustices in their community, and to work toward solutions.
Donations to this fund will be used to train women to make advocacy films, and to purchase and maintain equipment that will allow them to shoot, edit, and screen films about subjects of their choosing.
